When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing beautiful reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I saw something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Wreck Diving**. My heart jumped. This wasn't just a typical dive; this was an adventure into history.

I'll admit, I was a bit nervous. Wreck diving is serious business. But the team at **Amadive** were incredible. Their PADI instructors gave us an excellent safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. Being in a small group immediately put me at ease safe.

Going down was surreal. At first, it's a dark shape in the distance, then suddenly the ship came into view. It was massive. It's now a thriving artificial reef, covered in corals and teeming with marine life. We saw giant here groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent structure is hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It's a piece of history under the water.

If you're a certified diver coming to Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the standard reef, I urge you this **dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my Vietnam trip.
